This is a mixed media painting 24×30”, with a depth of 2 inches. Acrylic and oil paint were used in the creation of this piece. This is painted on a wood substrate.The sides are also painted to match the artwork.

“At The Top” was inspired by my home which was located at the very top of Horse Mesa Dam. I was honored to live there for two and a half years amongst the desert dwellers; rattlesnakes, tarantulas, mountain lions and big horn sheep. I had the perfect view looking down at Canyon Lake; the changing colors of the water due to algae or the desert depending on the seasons. This piece reflects the colors of the area and incorporates my obsession with aerial abstractions.

There is a lot of subtle textures and variances in sheen. Each piece is varnished, signed, dated, and ready to be hung.
